Opening of the Basic German Language Training Course for Thai Massage Therapists in Austria, organised by the Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna in Collaboration with the Austrian-Thai Society (Österreichisch-Thailändische Gesellschaft - ÖTG)

On 20 September 2026 Ms. Thanthida Wangthamrong Helbardt, Counsellor at the Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna, as representative of the Ambassador, presided over the opening ceremony of the Basic German Language Training Courses for Thai Massage Therapists in Austria at Suvanapum Thai Spa – Vienna Style. The initiative was jointly organised by the Royal Thai Embassy and the Austrian-Thai Society (Österreichisch-Thailändische Gesellschaft - ÖTG).

Held over four sessions from 20 September to 25 October 2026, the training focuses on fundamental German language skills tailored for practical use in everyday work and services of Traditional Thai Massage therapists.  The sessions are conducted by experts from ÖTG who are knowledgeable in German as well as traditional Thai massage management.

Through this initiative, the Royal Thai Embassy aims to empower the Thai community in Austria, enhance professionalism, and elevate Traditional Thai Massage - a key Thai soft power, to be recognised on the international stage. The Embassy extends its sincere appreciation to the Austrian-Thai Society for its invaluable collaboration and support in conducting this project.
