On 20 June 2025, on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana (3 June 2025), the Royal Thai Embassy organised a food charity at the Caritas Foundation’s Day-care Centre at Vienna’s Central Train Station

Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, the Thai Ambassador, together with officials and staffs of the Royal Thai Embassy, participated in the volunteer activity by providing Thai food lunch for approximately 150 homeless people at the Caritas Foundation’s Day-care Centre.

The Caritas Austria Day-care Centre at the main station in Vienna serves as a daily refuge from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM for people experiencing homelessness, largely from Eastern European nations. It provides a range of crucial services such as a place to rest, meals, showers, laundry facilities, and counseling to support their journey out of homelessness.
