On the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua attaining the age of 26,469 days, the same age as His Majesty King Buddha Yodfa Chulalok the Great (Rama I), the founder of the Chakri Dynasty on 14 January 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna organized a Buddhist ceremony and offered alms to three monks from the Thai temples in Vienna at the premises of the Royal Thai Embassy on 17 January 2025.  Mr. Cheevindh Nathalang, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. presided over the merit-making ceremony. Officers and staff of the Embassy as well as representatives of the Team Thailand in Vienna also attended the ceremony to express their respect and offer merit to His Majesty the King on this auspicious occasion.

On the same day, Mr. Cheevindh Nathalang, Chargé d'Affaires a.i., led officers and staff  of the Embassy as well as members of the Team Thailand in Vienna in a volunteer activity by donating funds to the Le+O Project of the Caritas Foundation in Vienna. The donation aims to support the work of the Le+O Project in the procurement and distribution of food and essential goods to the homeless, low-income individuals, and socially disadvantaged groups. Ms. Lea Laubenthal, head of the Le+O Center, received the donation on behalf of the organization.
