Volunteer Activity on the Occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother (12 August 2025)
On 22 August 2025 Ambassador Pattarat Hongtong, together with officials and Team Thailand of the Royal Thai Embassy, donated essential supplies and dried food to Haus Kim, a women's shelter of the Caritas Foundation Austria, as a charity activity in honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s Birthday Anniversary. On this occasion, the staff members of Haus Kim expressed sincere appreciation to the Royal Thai Embassy for its support of the shelter's work and provided a briefing on the foundation's mission.
Haus Kim is open to women of all ages who are facing challenges such as homelessness, family violence, or other problems. They can apply for a stay to recover and return to the society. The shelter can accommodate up to 70 women.
