Special Musical Performance by Nat Yontararak: "Siam Sonata: Musical Tour Through Thailand" in Vienna
On September 30, 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy hosted the concert “Siam Sonata: Musical Tour Through Thailand” at the historic Ehrbar Saal in Vienna
During the concert, Mr. Nat Yontararak, internationally acclaimed Thai pianist and composer, performed his composition "Siam Sonata." This piece weaves together distinctive folk melodies from all four regions of Thailand, creating an artistic bridge between Thai music and Western classical music. The performance also featured percussion by Polish artist Mr. Łukasz Kurzydło and Thai dance performances from the Christian Communications Institute, captivating an audience of over 200 participants.
Following the performance, guests were invited to a reception featuring special Thai appetizers, each representing one of Thailand's four regions. This allowed the participants to fully experience the essence and regional diversity of Thailand through a comprehensive journey of both music and taste.
The Royal Thai Embassy extends its sincere appreciation to Mr. Nat Yontararak and his team for the impressive and captivating performance, which successfully brought Thai culture and music to a broader Austrian public. We also take this opportunity to thank the Tourism Authority of Thailand Office in Frankfurt and other partners for their support, making this cultural evening possible. We are grateful to the attendees for their enthusiasm and positive reception.
