Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna actively participated in the “Authentic Thai Taste Tour by Thai SELECT” to promote Thai cuisine and products in Austria

On 10 May 2025, Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand, led the Royal Thai Embassy’s officials to join the “Authentic Thai Taste Tour by Thai SELECT” event, organized by the Office of Commercial Affairs in Vienna. The activity featured a cycling route with delightful Thai food tasting at various rest stops located at Thai SELECT certified restaurants. Ten Thai restaurants participated in the project, namely, Patara Fine Thai Cuisine, Kao Soi Thai Bistro, Som Kitchen, Sip Song Bar, Muang Thai Street Food, All Reis, Pumpui, Krua Mali. Thai product retailers such as Billa Corso and Broth3rs Asia Food Store also joined this initiative.

The event was very successful on significantly promoting Thailand's uniqueness and increasing awareness of its diverse food and products in Austria. It received great public attention, attracting over 300 participants while the Embassy's social media channels initially recorded over 25,000 views with high interest and admiration.
