Bled Strategic Forum 2025

On 1 - 2 September 2025, Ambassador Pattarat Hongtong attended the Bled Strategic Forum (BSF) in Bled, Republic of Slovenia. This year the meeting was held under the theme “A Runaway World”, which also coincides with the 20th Anniversary of the forum.

The Thai delegation was led by Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, who was a panelist in the session on “Sustaining Peace in a Shifting Global Order” on ways to advance peace and stability in the context of a rapidly changing global environment. The Director-General highlighted Thailand’s constructive role in the international community, with a strong commitment to rules-based multilateralism and ASEAN centrality.

Bled Strategic Forum is the leading international conference in Central and South-Eastern Europe, to foster the exchange of ideas and diverse perspectives from various stakeholders, including political leaders, thinkers, academics, business and youth, to jointly create solutions to global problems.
